Hey, I’m Abhishek,
and this is a little corner of my story.

About me

My journey started from a vintage house with engraved patterns, embedded in the heart of Meerut, old paintings lying and hearing stories of my grandfather filling life in soulless products. While staring at the stars, these stories helped me to feed my curiosity and choose a path which is ever intriguing and full of new learning.

From reimagining diagrams in school to doodling during boring lectures, design quietly became a part of me. I studied design, but what I truly fell in love with was the process — the entire journey tastes like sugar, and I just kept wanting more. That sweet spot of not knowing the answer yet — the state of confusion, of being in a space of creative uncertainty — is where I feel most alive.

And yes, I know what you’re thinking — I love design, but love alone isn’t enough. To truly honour that love, I started putting in the work. Whether it was college projects, internships, assignments, or my job, I’ve always tried to give my heart and soul to everything I’ve been part of. Below, you’ll find a list of all the places I’ve worked — each one shaping me in some way.

The little worlds I escape into

I like to frame quiet moments, write thoughts into verses, and walk without a destination.
My quiet frames in black and white

My journey with photography began in school, capturing everyday moments on a Nokia phone with my childhood friend, Rishi. Over time, I grew drawn to black and white photography — for its stillness, honesty, and the way it highlights composition and emotion. Some of my work has been featured on platforms like NDTV, Mint, and others.

Most of my work is available on free stock platforms as a way of giving back. Collectively, my photos have crossed over 24 million views. If you'd like to explore more, you can visit abshky.com.

The poems I whisper to the page

For me, poetry is a way to speak my heart out — to get as close as possible to putting feelings into words. I write mostly in Hindi, my native language, where emotions feel the most honest and raw. I see poetry as a powerful medium — one that gently yet deeply connects, questions, and heals. After all, the pen often holds more power than the sword.

Long walks that untangle my thoughts

Walking might seem ordinary, but to me, it’s a quiet ritual. Through silent lanes or noisy cities, under trees or beside strangers — it slows time just enough for me to notice. I walk to listen, to observe, to breathe a little deeper. Some days, I click a frame; other days, I just carry it in memory.
And well… daily steps? Never a problem.
